Beer will be Used to Fuel Cars

Amidst fears of scarcity of fuel oil in the future, some countries try to develop alternative fuels. A beer company's original United States are developing a system for making fuel ethanol from the rest of the beer fermentation process.

As news of Livescience, Sunday (2009/2/8), Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Chico in California, are working with the E-Fuel Corporation to develop a system of making biofuel, called MicroFueler.

Sierra Nevada will begin development of that system in the second quarter 2009, and estimated at the end of the third quarter have been able to produce fuel are overkill.

"Development of fuel that will be a potentially very big for the environment," said the President as well as the founder of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.., Ken Grossman.

During this time, the remaining processing of beer contains as much alcohol 5-8 percent. With the system, the actual level of alcohol will be increased to 15 per cent alcohol into fuel.

"The use of fuel from the remains of the production of beer will make your car more environmentally friendly and can save money in your wallet," said the CEO of E-Fuel, Tom Quinn.
