Mozilla officially released a new browser for mobile phones in the form of beta. Browser Fennec is the name given it, can be used only for certain types of mobile phone, the Nokia N810.
"I am very happy, Fennec browser beta for the Maemo platform, the first officially released eventually," said Stuart Parmenter, architect Mozilla Mobile.
"We are always optimistic with what we achieve on this platform. Fennec guaranteed to bring surfing the Internet faster, and reliable performance," he said.
One other advantage offered by Fennec is, TraceMonkey feature, which makes this engine work Javascript to be much faster 40 times. TraceMonkey themselves, will connect with Mozilla Firefox 3.1.
More, Fennec is compatible with all future operating system which is present in the smart phone such as Symbian, Windows Mobile, Android, and Nokia. Then how about the iPhone? Although there is no further information, Fennec has not seemed to be present in the smart phone is owned by Apple.
