Hearst is developing E-Reader

Hearst, the largest media conglomerates in the world has announced that the company will develop electronic readers for newspapers and magazines, as the Amazon Kindle.

Readers of electronic news is quite important because Hearst has approximately 15 daily newspapers and 49 weekly and the media have a strong influence for hundreds of magazines. Examples of media are San Francisco Chronicle and Cosmopolitan.

Not clear, whether the device is being developed with eReader Hearst related to the Plastic Logic technology but that the device is being developed similar to the Kindle in which the main difference is a larger size. According to the information it is likely the e-reader uses e Ink technology.

At the same time, Hearst was a program paying for access to online content. When the e-reader device have been released and then how to read newspaper and magazine publishing will be shifted, because the readers get to live it. According to the plan, the e-reader will be launched 12 to 18 months.
