Industry often regarded as one of the highest contributor in the air pollution. Therefore, the electricity industry association, the United States (U.S.) plan to use technology that can reduce emissions of greenhouse gases or regular technology called 'green'.
Campaign technology 'green' will be working with the Edison Electric Institute (EEI), to create technology that can be used to reduce air pollution. In addition, EEI will provide points of agreement to the members of the U.S. electricity industry associations that want to apply the reduction of gas emissions to 80 percent.
"We will be pressing so that the perpetrators of the industry would reduce pollution to 80 percent, which will be done gradually until the year 2050 coming," said a spokesperson for EEI.
To achieve this long-term plan, there are some that will be made by EEI. In addition to re-regulation of the industry as much as possible to reduce emissions that cause a crisis environment, EEI also expect Maximization of the nuclear technology for human good.
"In the short term, the U.S. has begun to encourage a reduction in gas emissions to 40 percent. And I hope this can continue with the good," said EEI spokesman.
