Uninstall Windows XP from Command Prompt

One of the features of the Windows XP is the ability to uninstall XP, after we successfully upgrade from Windows 98, 98SE, or Windows Me. In general, uninstall tool is done through the [Add / Remove Programs] in the Control Panel in Windows booting normal.

However, when I was not successful, we can go into Safe Mode and remove through the Windows Add / Remove Programs. If this is a failed, perhaps the only way is through the Command Prompt.

Do the following:
1. Cd-type, and press [Enter].
2. Type cd-windows-system32 and press [Enter].
3. Osuninst.exe type and press [Enter].

Then follow the instructions on the screen that will help restore the computer to the operating system before.

Please note, this can only be done if before upgrading to Windows XP, you have backup the operating system before, besides you have to do as an Administrator or user who has administrator access.
