Pollution at sea is now more worrying. Scientists are designing a fish robot that can detect pollution in water.Quoted from Skynews, some fish will be released in artificial water to search for Spanish ship that leaks from the potentially dangerous to marine life.
Fish Robot measuring 1.5 meters long and has a chemical sensor that can detect ships, fuel and chemicals in the water. This robot is driven by a battery which can stand for eight hours and can move without remote control.
Currently, eight have been released to the robot to the Bay of Biscay in Gijon with as much cost 100,000 Pounds Sterling. Program a fish robot is part of a partnership between the three-year consulting engineering firm BMT Group and Essex University.
Professor Hu Huosheng from Essex University, said the fish will prevent the potential danger of pollution of the sea. If this project is successful, he hopes the fish can be used worldwide to prevent the spread of pollution.
