Sharp LCD TV with Blu-ray

Japanese electronics giant Sharp introduced an interesting product. In order to push up sales of television LCD (liquid crystal display) production, Sharp to make LCD televisions latest AQUOS DX Series with Blu-ray technology.

Because the LCD television that already has machines high definition DVD player in it, users do not need to buy a Blu-ray player. Television motorized Blu-ray is expected to increase competitiveness in the Sharp flat panel television market. AQUOS DX Series will be marketed in Japan starting November with prices between USD 1680 to USD 4950.

"In the period in which the ongoing fierce competition and economic conditions do not support, we want to offer product differentiation with providing the highest quality but easy to use," said Chief Executive Officer Sharp Mikio Katayama.

Sharp is a pioneer in the LCD television market. In the flat panel TV market, LCD technology to compete with the fierce PDP (plasma display panel). In the LCD television market, Sharp also compete with the giants of the electronics such as Samsung, Sony, and LG.

The Blu-ray DVD technology is a high definition DVD format wins the war against the high-definition HD DVD, Toshiba are supported.
